Course Overview

The GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher (BSTR) – Offshore course is designed for personnel who need to renew their existing GWO BST – Offshore certification before it expires.

Delivered in accordance with current Global Wind Organisation (GWO) standards, BSTR – Offshore  ensures delegates maintain critical safety competence, remain compliant with employer and OEM requirements, and continue to work safely in offshore wind turbine environments. GWO BSTR – Offshore refreshes existing certification for Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling and First Aid

GWO BSTR – Offshore is required by offshore wind farm operators, OEMs and contractors worldwide before personnel are permitted to:

  • Access offshore wind turbines or substations
  • Work at height or in marine environments

Without valid GWO BST – Offshore certification, individuals may be refused site access or deployment.
