GWO Enhanced First Aid Refresher (EFAR)
Course Overview
The GWO Enhanced First Aid Refresher (EFAR) course is designed for wind energy personnel who need to renew their existing GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA) certification before it expires.
This refresher ensures delegates maintain advanced first aid competence, remain aligned with current GWO standards, and are prepared to manage serious medical emergencies in remote, offshore and turbine environments where emergency response may be delayed.
GWO Enhanced First Aid is required or strongly recommended for personnel working in high-risk or remote wind roles, where emergency medical services may be delayed.
Prerequisites
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a current or recently expired GWO Enhanced First Aid (EFA) certificate
- Hold current GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) or equivalent wind safety training certificate
- Be medically fit to participate in practical scenarios
